Town of Hudson Friday Updates

As part of a greater effort to expand and diversify our outreach to citizens, we will be doing weekly Friday updates via text/email/Facebook/Twitter. Whereas our Wednesday updates will have Town business such as road repairs, new ordinances, etc, our Friday updates will focus on upcoming events and other fun happenings in the community.

Founders Day, March 30th, 4:30pm at Town Hall

We want to give the community a fun event while also paying tribute to the Town's history. The event starts at 4:30 with the LEGENDARY LADIES, a group who brings the past to life by portraying important female figures in our history. Other highlights include DOOR PRIZES that include gift cards for local businesses, COLORING CONTEST AND SCAVENGER HUNT for the kids, and a DANCE where everyone is invited. Come in your best 1914 COSTUME, and you'll get free admission as well as be eligible for our costume contest.

Tickets are $1 apiece or $5 for six.

Chili Contest

As part of Founders Day, we are also doing a chili contest. The categories are red/green, and mild/medium/hot. Please come to Town Hall to fill out a registration and pick up a flyer from Weld County Health for the best safety tips and practices. Entry is free and open to everyone, and entering will get you a free ticket into the event!
