New Wednesday Updates!

As part of the Town of Hudson's efforts to reach out to citizens and let everyone know what's happening in the Town, we plan to send out an update every Wednesday containing information about what is being worked on from street repairs, to the budgeting process, and more. Let your friends and neighbors know if they're curious about the community!

March 13th Blizzard

As we sent word out yesterday, Town Hall is closed today due to the weather. The deciding factors were safety of the roads (rain, followed by freezing, followed by snow = very slippery conditions) as well as looking at other institutions and whether they would be open or not. Finally we contacted the National Weather Service and made our best judgment call.

Part of our efforts to increase communication with town residents will include giving everyone advanced notice of closures and other changes as they become available to us.

Updating our Building Code

Currently the Town of Hudson is under the 2006 International Building Code (IBC). Town Council is working to adopt the updated 2018 IBC into the Municipal Code. This will help make things easier for potential builders as we will be in alignment with other communities, and ensure that we're using the best, most recent guidelines available. We hope to continue to bring out small, yet important, updates and changes like this to be more efficient, effective, and responsive to the needs of Hudson.
