Prevent Car Theft

The Hudson Police Department and other Local Police Agencies have seen a rise in Motor Vehicle Thefts, associated with cold weather citizens are leaving their motor vehicles unattended while warming them up. The Police Department is asking citizens to not leave your vehicles unattended; it is against the law and allows car thieves an easy opportunity to gain access to your vehicle and personal belongings in the vehicle.
Resulting in the theft of your vehicle, possible theft of your identity and credit devices when your wallet or purse are in the vehicle, and possible access to your home if your garage door opener is in the vehicle.

42-401206 Unattended Motor Vehicle, (Also known as the Puffer Law)
Traffic Infraction Class B Fine $15.00 to $100.00 plus Surcharges and Court Costs.

Please don’t be a victim

Sincerely,

Jay S Hirokawa
Chief of Police
Hudson Police Department

Thank You!

We wanted to thank you all for a wonderful Christmas Lighting this year. We exceeded expectations with over 80 kids having a chance to meet Santa, get presents, and take home a picture as well!

We also want to thank those who participated in the parade including the Fire District, Public Works Department, Lil' Rebels Cheers, and the High School Marching Band.
