Dear Community Members,
For over a year, we have been working with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) on the CO 52 Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) Study and Access Control Plan (ACP). The study provides a roadmap for a variety of projects and solutions that CDOT and its local government partners will work toward implementing. With congestion increasing on the road and safety concerns increasing with it, this study is essential to maintaining safe and efficient vehicular traffic flows for the next 25 years.
Starting on August 30th and running through September 12th, CDOT will host an online open house to update the public on the project as well as gather feedback on the project’s progress to date. Since the previous online open house (in August of 2020), the project team has reviewed public feedback, identified central areas of public concern, and worked to provide solutions to those concerns through the plans proposed.
