Utility Billing is responsible for providing customer service and processing monthly statements and payments for all water and  waste-water consumers.

Hudson Utility Bill Information

The Town of Hudson mails utility bills out the first of the month. The bills are due and payable upon receipt. All charges are delinquent after the 25th day of the month, or by close of business the next business day after the 25th day if the 25th day of the month falls on a holiday or weekend. 

Delinquent accounts are charged a late fee of $10.00 per account for each month that the account is delinquent. In addition to a late fee, a delinquent account is subject to termination of service. 

Delinquency letters will typically be mailed out the first week of the month. The delinquency letters are the only notice users will receive notifying them of the delinquency, the minimum amount owed, and the day of shut off if payment is not received.  To prevent termination of service a payment of the then-current monthly bill plus ten (10) percent of the delinquent amount must be paid prior to the shut off date. In case any person or entity fails to pay or refuses to pay any charges for water and wastewater service, the town may shut off the water service to the premises served. If the user is shut off, prior to resumption of service an account must be paid in full, which will include the late fee, shut off fee, and reconnect fee.
