JOE RACINE, Town Administrator

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Town Administrator serves the Town as the chief administrative officer.  Responsibilities of the position include: implementation of the policies and programs as directed by the Board of Trustees; overall management of the Town’s operations; enforcement of local laws and ordinances; preparation of an annual budget; financing and oversight of capital projects; negotiation of development and intergovernmental agreements; and recommendations to the Board of Trustees of programs, projects or facilities that will improve the overall quality of life in Hudson.

 

LINNETTE BARKER, Town Clerk

The Town Clerk is appointed by the Board of Trustees, and reports to the Board through the Town Administrator.  The Clerk is the official recorder of Town meetings and custodian of all Town records.  In addition, the Clerk oversees all municipal elections, issues business licenses and building permits, manages front office functions, manages staff payroll; and serves as the human resources manager for the Town. 

 

JUDY McGILL, Treasurer / Town Clerk Pro-Tem / Municipal Court Clerk

The Town Treasurer is appointed by the Board of Trustees, and reports to the Board through the Town Administrator.  This is currently a combined position with the following responsibilities: manage accounts receivable and accounts payable; present bills to the Board of Trustees for approval; keep the town’s books; and manages utility billing.  The position also serves as Clerk of the Municipal Court and fulfills the responsibilities of the Town Clerk in the Clerk’s absence.

  

DAN HAMSMITH, Management Assistant

The Management Assistant provides general support to the Town’s administration and public works department by conducting studies, writing grant applications, assisting with citizen inquiries, working on economic development projects, managing the Town’s role in the 2010 census program, overseeing the Town’s emergency operations plan, and managing the website.

 

ROY FRONCZYK, Town Planner

The Town Planner is the point of contact for persons interested in developing property in Hudson.  This part-time position administers the Town’s zoning, subdivision and annexation processes and advises the Town on matters related to the Comprehensive Plan and the long range planning of the physical development of the community. 

 

JIM JONES, Town Engineer

The Town Engineer advises the Public Works Department on matters regarding design and maintenance of utilities, drainage and streets.  This contract position brings the depth of a private engineering company to the Town, including the ability to design projects, oversee bidding and manage construction.  The Town Engineer is also active in reviewing plans for private land development that involves construction of public facilities such as water and sewer lines, and streets.
